Giving, Volunteering and More: How Our Members Show They Care

Members of the Association for Accessible Medicines form an integral and powerful part of the health care system. When companies join AAM, they commit to honoring a code of business ethics. In addition, many of them run robust corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, benefiting their immediate communities and patients around the world. Here is a rundown of some of these efforts.

  • 3M Health Care Business publishes an annual Sustainability Report, which details progress toward its energy, water and climate goals. In addition, it makes charitable gifts through 3Mgives, supporting educational, community and environmental nonprofits. Furthermore, the company supports a Skills-Based Service Program: “[a] global pro bono program that empowers 3Mers to do what they do best—make an impact.”

  • Apotex Corporation “continually heeds the call for help when humanitarian crises occur.” Learn more on its Corporate Responsibility page.
