Pete Kelbel is Senior Manager, Federal Government Affairs at the Association for Accessible Medicines. Pete supports the Federal Government Affairs team in achieving AAM’s strategic objectives by managing communications on congressional activity to AAM’s Washington Representatives, the development of advocacy materials and issue briefs and the administration of the AAM Political Action Committee (PAC).
Prior to AAM, Pete was the lead Legislative Assistant on health care for Capitol Hill Consulting Group (CHCG), where he covered all health-related activity on Capitol Hill, provided regular updates to CHCG’s clients and conducted research projects for the firm and its partners. Pete previously interned for Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) and in his home state of Michigan in the State Legislature and at a multi-client firm, Public Affairs Associates. Pete received his B.A. in Political Science from Michigan State University in 2018 and is currently enrolled at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business, where he is working toward his MBA.
